Are you curious about how data can shape the future? As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in helping us make smarter decisions by turning raw data into meaningful insights. Whether it’s improving how we deliver water, protecting the environment, or enhancing customer service, your work will have a real-world impact. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

Collecting, cleaning, and analysing data to uncover trends and patterns. 

Creating bespoke programmes and apps to support data-driven solutions. 

Using GIS platforms and SAP to visualise and interpret spatial and operational data. 

 

This role is ideal for someone who

Has a curious and analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving. 

Enjoys working with digital tools and technology. 

Is self-motivated, organised, and able to balance work and study effectively. 

 

Your learning journey 

You’ll complete a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship over 2 years. 

Attend day release at the College of West Anglia to build your technical and professional skills. 

Gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced mentors and colleagues. 

 

Base location 

Huntingdon or Lincoln 

 

What you’ll need to get started 

GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths 

Laboratory Analyst Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Are you passionate about science and making a difference? As a Laboratory Analyst Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of protecting public health and the environment. Working in our laboratories, you’ll carry out essential testing and analysis to ensure water quality and safety – helping us deliver clean, safe water every day. 

 

This is a hands-on role where precision, scientific knowledge, and a sense of purpose come together to make a real impact. 

 

What you’ll be doing: 

Analysing water samples and reporting data to ensure compliance and safety. 

Following accredited laboratory methods and maintaining accurate analytical records. 

Managing stock control and quality assurance, while ensuring health and safety standards are met. 

 

This role is ideal for someone who: 

Has a passion for science and lab work, with a methodical and detail-focused approach. 

Enjoys problem-solving and applying analytical thinking. 

Brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and a willingness to grow. 

 

Your learning journey: 

You’ll complete a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship over 24 months. 

Attend day release at West Suffolk College, gaining both practical and theoretical knowledge. 

 

Base location: 

Central Laboratory, Huntingdon  

 

What you’ll need to get started: 

5 GCSEs including Maths & English at grades A–C or 9–4* (Functional Skills qualifications also accepted) 

A Level in Science or BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science
