TIDE Services Limited is an Anglian Water Group company and part of Anglian Venture Holdings. At TIDE Services, we manage the Anglian Water Direct, digdat and Geodesys businesses on behalf of Anglian Water Services.

We are a team of commercially focused individuals with great ideas, drive and ambition, supported by first class I.T. services and a team of highly skilled, creative and innovative software developers.

With a clear focus on our customers and a great understanding of the challenges they face, TIDE Services creates and delivers products and services that exceed their expectations and enable them to focus their efforts on other important issues.

Anglian Water Direct

Offering home emergency insurance and water efficiency products, Anglian Water Direct works with industry-leading companies to provide high quality products and services to homeowners, helping them fix, maintain and look after their homes whilst saving water.

Our aim is to provide a range of quality products from a company that customers know and trust, which is why we work with HomeServe to arrange insurance products to help protect against home emergencies such as burst pipes, boiler breakdowns and electrical issues.

Geodesys

Here at Geodesys we produce the CON29DW Drainage and Water Search using Anglian Water data and sell the end product to solicitors, conveyancers and other search intermediaries. We also offer CON29DW searches and a full range of conveyancing searches nationwide by sourcing them from other water companies and suppliers and reselling them to our clients. This enables us to offer customers the benefit of a ‘one-stop shop’ for all their search needs. As well as residential products we also have a full range of products geared towards commercial property transactions.

digdat

digdat delivers web hosted solutions with powerful viewing tools, primarily delivering solutions for the utility sector. With a focus on providing 24/7 access to service information, digdat enables proactive and two-way customer communication, delivered to any device anywhere.

digdat’s applications include digdat In Your Area, digdat Retailer Notification Service, digdat Connect and digdat Utilities. No matter what the application, the goal is the same; clear, accurate and timely updates.

I really enjoy working with the team. We’ve got an amazing team at TIDE and the collaboration between teams is great, which makes the job even better. I love the mixture of designing every day and working with others.

No two days ever look the same! We can be working on a wide range of tasks from user interface design to improving the user experience of our internal products to external website projects. I also spend a lot of time planning and looking at task management to ensure we keep on top of things.

Being able to learn new things every day is brilliant. As a team, we push each other to grow and develop. We share our knowledge to help each other get better in different areas. We’re always encouraging each other to be the best we can be, as well as helping each other out. It’s the collaboration and working together that I love most.

TIDE is a fantastic place to work, and the great work-life balance is a real win for me. My manager’s support has been invaluable – she is reliable, understanding and always encouraging me to be my best. The work itself is consistently interesting, providing a good challenge that keeps things engaging.

A regular day involves a morning team meeting, where we share any updates and plans. Then, it’s heads down, working on various tasks and projects. I make sure to take breaks, chat with colleagues, and step away from the screen for a bit (always important to get those steps in!). It’s a mix of focused work and social moments throughout the day.

One of the best moments at work was when I got several sincere thanks from colleagues for putting in extra effort on a project and seeing it to completion. It’s those simple expressions of appreciation that make the job so rewarding.

I have been working at Tide for 3 months and can honestly say how happy I am that I applied for the position within the customer service team, at the time of applying for the position I had currently taken 3 months out from work to decide what it was I wanted to do moving forward.

I was looking for a job where I could provide a high level of customer service and be part of a team where we are helping provide a service that helps people; the position appealed to me on the basis that it is made up of many different parts and there is so much to learn and the sense of achievement at the end of the day. I enjoy learning all the factors that make up what we as a customer service team action and look forward to learning more.

The benefits and incentives provided by Tide are some of the best I have seen. One of the things that has jumped out to me since joining is the Wellbeing information and the main point is that this is not just something that is spoken about to make the company look like they are caring but there is so much available around this, like the 30 minute walk and talk is amazing and the information and all the different activities they advertise through the month is such a change to anywhere I have worked prior and is a refreshing change.
