Your development

We’re committed to supporting the learning and development of our people, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge they need to be successful, work safely and achieve their full potential. We’ve even won awards for our approach – in November 2017, we achieved the Personnel Today Award for Excellence in Learning and Development.

We also run a Continuing Professional Development programme with a mix of leadership and personal development courses designed to help you build new skills and step into a management role. These cover everything from building and motivating teams through to communication for managers.

Rewards and benefits

Being a successful utilities company takes lots of different people, all working hard to keep our water clean and readily available for our customers. That’s why we’re so passionate about recognising and rewarding the great work they do. Some of our flexible benefits include:

Health and wellbeing

We want our people to feel good at work – and outside of it. So, we support their wellbeing through a range of tools and benefits, all designed to make this an even happier, healthier and safer place to be.

If your role is mostly desk-based and you want to pedal while you work, you could ask for one of our cycle desks.

Need a break? You can join a biodiversity walk, go to a mindfulness breakfast or opt for a walking meeting… The list goes on.

It’s working. We’ve even won awards. In 2018, our CEO Peter Simpson received the REBA Employee Wellbeing Visionary Award. Later the same year, we picked up the Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Strategy of the Year Award at the WSB Awards.

We’ve got a place for you

If you want to be welcomed, developed and rewarded, you’ll fit right in.
